La realidad de las personas con demencia en España en plena pandemia y, antes de la misma, es que, la soledad, indefensión, abandono y olvido hacia estos seres humanos que, por lo general son viejos, es ABSOLUTA.
No descubro nada nuevo si digo que los sistemas y gobiernos, utilizan, engañan, se aprovechan y desechan al hombre como a basura. La paradoja es que estos sistemas, están a su vez creados y gestionados por hombres. La ruptura de la paradoja que permite que lo irracional se convierta en realidad normalizada, radica en la existencia de la diferencia de clases. Si tienes mucha pasta te escapas de muchas cosas, si no tienes un botón ( como creo que le ocurre a una inmensa mayoría de españoles y, desde luego al resto de la humanidad), te lo tragas todo. Toda la mierda del sistema. Va por capas, de arriba a abajo, ya sabéis…
Mi madre sufre de una Demencia con Cuerpos de Lewy desde mayo de 2016 (que sepamos, claro), en febrero cumplirá d.m 84 años y, mi padre, que es quien la cuida, va a cumplir en diciembre 86 años.
Ayudas estatales percibidas en estos cuatro años: NINGUNA, asistencia de la compañía “privada”: mínima, ayudas de otro tipo de estamentos, organizaciones, ONG and Company… NINGUNA.
Están más solos que la una frente a la enfermedad más tremenda que yo he conocido en vivo.
Los cartelitos, panfletos, arengas, cuñas publicitarias, promesas, estado del bienestar, etc, etc, son una pura patraña. Es aquello de las marquesinas de los buses, cuidan y vigilan tu próstata… ¿A ti que tienes más de 40 o 50 años, te ha llamado nadie jamás para hacerte una revisión del tema?…
Lo estamos viviendo en primera persona con el tema del covid: Paracetamol y a casa, a ver qué pasa…
Esa es la realidad a día de hoy en España. Los viejos están solos, están demás, se les almacena en sitios donde se supone que les van a cuidar muy bien o se mueren solos sin ningún tipo de asistencia en sus casas, sobran. Han cotizado toda la vida esperando obtener una cierta reciprocidad y, digo cierta porque los madrugones y otras muchísimas penurias de toda una vida laboral, no se compensan con ningún dinero. Alguna garantía de que tendrán cierta protección cuando todo se torna oscuro y, lo que encuentran, es el ABANDONO ABSOLUTO de las administraciones (tan paternalistas ellas).
Es todo mentira. La mentira de la ignominia.
